Government of India is celebrating International Day of Yoga at 75 Iconic Locations across India to mark the positive effect of Yoga on Humanity, for physical and mental well-being of human beings.
Ministry of Tourism, Government of India is participating with a lot of gusto and enthusiasm in the locations of Belur Math (recently developed under PRASHAD Scheme) and Darjeeling Himalayan Railways (UNESCO World Heritage site) with Ministry of Education & Ministry of Railways respectively.
More than 20 crores people have participated in today's International Day of Yoga Celebration across the nation and that would essentially boost the tourism potential of India. We wish everyone a happy and healthy life on this special occasion and hope the love for Yoga at Indian destinations would grow many fold post this extraordinary celebration.
