BBP NEWS: A school student died after being hit by a JCB on his way to study tuition. The incident happened in Bansdroni. Allegedly, that JCB crushed the student in the morning. Doctors declared him dead when he was taken to a local hospital in a bloody condition. The student's death caused tension in the area. Locals are protesting by blocking the road.
The accident took place in Ward No. 113 of Kolkata Municipality. According to the locals, road construction work has been going on in that area for several days. A JCB was kept for that repair work. The ninth class student of the area was going to the coaching center on Wednesday morning. The JCBT hit him while cutting the soil. The student was crushed by the car.
After the incident, there was noise in the area. Allegedly, the accident happened due to the negligence of the local administration. Locals ransacked the killer JCB. They complain that the condition of the road has been bad for a long time. Driving on that road is dangerous. Everyone raised anger against the local Trinamool Councilor Anita Kar Majumder.
The police reached the spot after receiving information about the accident. As they arrived, the excitement grew. Locals protested around the police. They claim that until the Trinamool councilor arrives at the spot, they will protest. Locals are asking who is responsible for the accident.
